1. Information We Collect

EraseRooms collects no personally identifiable information whatsoever. Specifically:

• No name, email address, or phone number
• No account registration required
• No IP address logging
• No device fingerprinting
• No cookies placed on your device
• No analytics or tracking scripts

2. Messages & Chat Data

All messages sent through EraseRooms exist only in server RAM for the duration of an active session. When you leave a room:

• Your messages are immediately purged from memory
• No message history is written to any database
• No logs of conversations are maintained
• Private rooms are deleted entirely when the last user leaves

3. Images & Media

Users may optionally share images during chat sessions. Shared images are:

• Temporarily stored on secure servers for a maximum of 24 hours
• Automatically and permanently deleted after 24 hours
• Not reviewed, moderated, or accessed by EraseRooms staff under normal circumstances
• Visible only to participants in the active chat session

By sharing images on EraseRooms you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, the content does not violate applicable laws, and you accept full responsibility for shared content. EraseRooms is not liable for any content shared between users.

4. Screenshot Policy

EraseRooms employs technical measures to discourage screenshotting of chat content. However, we cannot guarantee complete prevention of screenshots or screen recordings.

5. Pro Subscription Data

If you purchase a EraseRooms Pro subscription via our payment partner Instamojo:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Instamojo — we do not see or store your card details
• Your Pro activation code is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) only
• We do not associate your payment with any chat identity

6. Cookies

EraseRooms uses zero cookies for tracking or analytics. The only browser storage used is localStorage to remember your Pro activation status on your own device.

7. Third-Party Services

EraseRooms uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic Claude API — powers AI bot responses in public rooms. Messages sent to bots are processed by Anthropic per their privacy policy.
• Instamojo — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Subject to Instamojo's privacy policy.
• Railway.app — hosting infrastructure. Subject to Railway's privacy policy.

8. Data Security

All traffic between your browser and EraseRooms is encrypted using HTTPS and WSS (WebSocket Secure). Since we store no data, there is nothing to breach or leak.

9. Children's Privacy

EraseRooms is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
